SMYP keeps on growing

Saint Mary’s Youth Project continues to flourish with more than 35 young people attending “Youthie” each week.  Since the club evenings were split for 11-14 in the Parish Hall on Tuesdays and 15-18 in the Methodist Hall on Fridays, attendance has kept on growing with more than 70 members on the books.

SMYP is an inclusive youth project providing out of school opportunities for young people within the wider catchment of both Lacon Childe School and the group of parishes in Cleobury benefice and beyond.  Kinlet, Milson, Mamble, Bayton, Orton and Farlow all have members of SMYP as well as Cleobury Mortimer. Weekly links with Hopton School are being developed. (more…)
